Thanks so much for the firefly mapping info, i am having trouble deleting the contents of the XML file, it opens in an internet explorer site and i can't delete it , any ideas?

Internet Explorer is not an editor, only a security risk and a internet browser. Open and edit file using notepad or any text-editor.

Right-click on the .xml file and look for notepad or wordpad under the "Open With..." selection.

Firefly Still Non Responsive

I've followed the code replacement instructions but still no response from remote,batteries are good,firefly drivers loaded, mapping buttons match after code change in custom folder, what could I be missing here?

hi, this thread is outdated. Firefly support has been native in MP for about a year now. Just select the firefly profile in the X10 configuration tab in the config program. If you don't like some of the mappings, you can change them from in there.

I have tried both ways, the native mappings and custom i get no response either way.

Hi ZR2Rick, then the problem is somewhere else. This has been stable for at least a year. make sure you don't have Snapstream's software installed, just the girder driver on their website.

Thank you die hard2 ,i found i had the drivers installed after i had plugged in the receiver, working now except getting mp to start with firefly, still working on that.

ok, i hate to be a pill, what you have done here is a real piece of work but for the life of me i cant figure out how to do something. Is there any way to still have the TV button pull up BTV? I see that MP has come a long way and has alot of hard work in the tv bundle part of the software, but I have my TV software bought and paid for, and honstly im spoiled by my two week tv guide there. Just for the life of me i cannot figure out how to get the firefly to map actaul executables in the configuration.

Hi Scaldari, sorry that's beyond me. Everything i use is native to MP. i would look for how to lauch and external process from a remote in the forums or post a new thread about that. We must have some way of doing it.
