Hi,
Having a bit of trouble after a media center rebuild with my favorite plugin, My TVSeries...

I've scanned my directories just fine, they find and parse everything as you would expect, but when you use the plugin or look in "details" in the config menu only the first episode is associated with a file on the hard drive, it seems to have skipped every episode after the first for each season. (note this doesn't happen for every show, just 90% of them)

I've tried 3 different versions of the plugin and importing old databases (didnt work) and even new databases with complete Imports from scratch 3 times now and I'm out of ideas...

They're defiantly in the database because in the verbose logs it states something along the lines of (Import successful, nothing parsed that isnt already in the Database)

I'm out of ideas!
Please Help

Update!

Using SQLite Database Browser I've found out whats going on, but still no idea how to fix it...

Say the file "A bit of fry and Laurie - 4x01.avi" shows up as CompositeID 71040_4x1 and SeriesID is 71040, which is one that is working fine,
the next file "A bit of fry and Laurie - 4x02.avi" parsed just fine, but in the database shows up as CompositeID -1_4x2 and SeriesID -1

Its not putting the files with the right SeriesID, even if files and similar files parse properly...

Ok. Which version are you using? latest SVN? which is I think revision 261?
When you start from scratch, does it do it?

1.2.9.34660 is the Assembly Version of MP-TVSeries.dll
0.7.5.3 is the version of MediaInfo.dll

Just rebuilt from scratch right now (2~ hours) and its done the exact same thing... some episodes work, most dont.
Its strange because I never used anything but the default parsing stings before and never had similar problems.

How are your files stored (folder hierarchy) and what is your import path(s) so that I can try to repro?
I just tested by creating a folder called "a bit of fry and laurie" why the files you told me about in it, and everything went fine.
Clean DB, just one import path added. I end up with both files properly identified. I'm using the latest code.

Please try the SVN version (see SVN Version sticky post). I assume it's a bug that has been fixed.

Z:\<series>\<season>\<file> nothing special.
I've had the same setup working for over a year before, this is one of many times ive rebuilt the thing and its been broken ever since.
As for the SVN it doesnt make a difference what version it is.
As far as its concerned everything is in the Database, it just doesnt have the right SeriesID, instead it has -1

!! Update !!
Is there anything I could look for in the log to explain why it would fill in series values as -1 instead of the ID?
I have the time to spare so look through and solve this, But not the time to add in 60 series\200 season\3000 files manually :)

I am having the same issue, It shows up correct in the test parser and only displays first episodes after importing.

When I take the episodes out of their season folders it works fine:

Works:
/Series/episodes.avi

Works with 5% (same files); others display only first episode:
/Series/Season #/episodes.avi

I've bypassed the problem by reinstalling windows, media portal and mp-tv series.
I'm not sure what exactly fixed it but its working with the latest SVN now.
