Fix windows media center (1 Viewer)

I Installed mp V1.1.0 on win 7 before I knew it would stop windows media center from working.
I could get the channels in setup but when trying to to view them in mp, my tv menu did nothing it just reloaded the menu page.
I have uninstalled mp but windows media center still does not pick up any channels.
How do I fix this.................

Did you uninstall also mediaportal tvserver ?
Disasters edition of Mediaportal has options to enable/disable mce mce services which could be your problem...

Mediaportal also has this feature, with MP and TVServer installed, unselect the components under "additional 3rd party checks", including disabling MPTray, these are under TVServer config and MP config, both need doing, then uninstall tvserver and MediaPortal.
