I had already changed the IP in MP config to 192.168.1.100, Right click on the server in TV config shows this address is used.
Still getting:

2012-10-11 13:47:07.448800 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: The database backend (provider MySQL) could not be reached.
Check the connection string: Server=192.168.2.100;Database=MpTvDb;User ID=root;Password=password;charset=utf8;Connection Timeout=30

It's still attempting to connect to 192.168.2.100 but everything is set up right in config as far as I am aware.
