Hi
I'm thinking about building a diskless HTPC. Booting from FLASH and having media content on a network drive.
As I understand the MP uses a database for storing configuration data. Where is this database file located? Is it possoble to put this file on a network drive? (I'm a bit worried of the life time of the boot FLASH)

If you dont want a disk in the box, look at the Gigabyte I-Ram (or I-Ram2) which uses ram as a hdd. Can have up to 4gig for I-Ram (up to 16gig I-Ram2). It uses a Battery to prevent loss of data and its something like 6x faster than any hdd out.
