Does it differ if you use DXVA (hardware acc.) or not?

I'm officially confused. I am now on 1.02...I've tried the PDVD9 codec and now the flicker has gone again. Humpfh. Basically I don't know what is causing it and I'd rather not confuse the issue further which is what im doing...whoops...

I've just started getting the same thing. It definitely looks like a frame from a few seconds previously randomly appears.
I use PDVD9. Went back to 8 and same thing. Using the MPC Gabest codec it doesn't seem to occur.
The one thing I've noticed is that it appears to only happen with 60Hz NTSC material and not with 50Hz PAL. MP 1.0 was fine, can't recall if 1.01 had the issue and currently on 1.02. Could it be to do with the dynamic refresh rate change?
