Flickering when changing channels (1 Viewer)

I updated as you described, but the problem persists. The logs I've attached are all that I get. It could be I'm doing something completely wrong here..?

Should I be using ffdshow as one of the codecs? I've installed ffdshow, but I can't choose it in MediaPortal config.

I'll do as you said with the rec/timeshift folders, and make new logs.

Hi,
ffdshow won't do anything there anyway, codecs in use are h.264 PDVD(which i use too & works fine for video) & AAC from monogram for audio.

If you open "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Programdata\Team MediaPortal\" there should be 2 folders one for MP & 1 for TV Server, in the last there should be a log folder open that & see if any tv.log it's there(we need to find out if channel changing are proper on server side).

Changed the folders according to the doctor's orders. Then I got the error message saying MP not able to start time-shifting. So I figured I had to make the TVRec folder manually. Anyway, the flickering is still there.

Found the logs you requested, attached them all as a .rar file. Hope that's ok.

In TV Server Configuration -> General -> EPG -> make sure that "EPG grabbing while timeshifting ..." it's disabled, is it?

Well,
Only thing left i know about then which could do antything with that is(if you don't suffer from high CPU):
1. Signal quality(move antenna a bit around, amplify it)
2. Anti-virus (accessing the timeshift file)
3. Another h.264 codecs like CoreAVC

Changed h.264 to CoreAVC, and it works fine now.

Hi!

I hade this problem (I think) on one of my clients. The medicine then was to disable "use nonsquare mixing for scaling" and choose "none" in filtering mode.
