Flickering when watching TV (1 Viewer)

Hi,

so did/do you suffer from the same flickering issue I had? That would be very interesting since I feared I'm the only one with that problem (and thus making it even more difficult to fix).

My MediaPortal also crashes from time to time but up to now I could not figure out why. But now that you mention this, I think it did not crash prior to enabling EVR. So thanks for pointing me to this direction.

Have you tried the latest patch provided in the thread you mentioned? It seems to work for most people as far as I can tell from scanning the thread. I haven't tested it myself yet, though (the crashes are quite rare so I'll have to wait some time before knowing whether it helps).
By the way, there is also a Windows Update patching EVR: KB 935878. Maybe this could help you, too.

I haven't tried it yet...what thread do you point at?
Changing decoder doesn't help a thing...without evr it starts flickering, with evr it freezes up randomly.
Maybe it's a gforce 7x00 problem...?
Can anyone confirm this? Are there more people having this problem or is there anybody that doesn't have these problems and has a 7x00 geforce ?
...It's getting a really anoying problem...

I'll try the patch today...
