I was using Media browser - then started using Emby - but Emby dropped support of DVD and blue ray play back.

so my movies being TS folders direct 1 to 1 copys of dvds i own no longer work. - so I decide to go to media portal - so far I like it - the load times seem little slower across the network I use a NAS device to store my movies collections on.

anyways I was wonder how the folder structure is suppose to work with media portal ?

so this is the path \\2008-SERVER\Media Center\Movies

then in side that path I have folders setup

\\2008-SERVER\Media Center\Movies\3-10 to Yuma (1957)

inside that folder I have

3-10 to Yuma (1957).nfo
movie.xml

backdrop2.jpg
folder.jpg
VIDEO_TS "folder"
AUDIO_TS "folder

-----------------------------------------

it seems like with cover style view that there is no backdrops when i high light over movie ?

for movie collections my paths are for example

\\2008-SERVER\Media Center\TV shows\Being Human (2011) TV Series

backdrop2.jpg
folder.jpg
series.xml
tvshow.nfo

Season 1 "folder"
\\2008-SERVER\Media Center\TV shows\Being Human (2011) TV Series\Season 1
Being Human Season 1 disc 1 "folder"
\\2008-SERVER\Media Center\TV shows\Being Human (2011) TV Series\Season 1\Being Human Season 1 disc 1
Video_TS "folder"
Audio_TS "folder"
Being Human Season 1 disc 2 "folder"
Being Human Season 1 disc 3 "folder"
Being Human Season 1 disc 4 "folder"
Season 2 "folder"
Being Human Season 2 disc 1 "folder"
Being Human Season 2 disc 2 "folder"
Being Human Season 2 disc 3 "folder"
Being Human Season 2 disc 4 "folder"
Season 3 "folder"

so for tv shows and movies is this best way for this program, or is there better setup ? this is setup that emby required and its also automaticly how media center master creats the folders and setup when it downloads the movie info and pictures off of the IDBM web page.
