Hello,

i use Moving Pictures 1.0 beta 3 and it is verry nice, thanks for this good job and sorry for my english.

I use Ember Media Manger to scrape the Movies.
it generate a .nfo file with all infos (like imdb number and title) and backdrop.jpg and movie.jpg file

But i have the problem in Moving Pictures that he not use the Title in the .nfo file or of the Foldername he get the info from imdb or odfb and this is not so good, he sort the Movies not corect.

I can give you a example:

Moving Pictures scrabe this:
Resident Evil: Apocalypse

but i like:
Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse

Can i change this?

If your NFO file is in the XBMC format and contains the title as you want, then this can be done, just make sure the XBMC scraper has the highest priority, because if for example the IMDb.com scraper is there, all the information will be re-obtained from it.

You are however more then able to modify the title after the fact, via the MovingPictures configuration screen, but be sure to then export an XBMC compatible NFO file, or on the next re-import those changes will get lost again. There is a handy app in the forum (look at FAQ) to make this easier for you, if your current NFO generator doesn't abide by the XBMC format.

Rochess is correct. Assuming your NFO files honor the XBMC format you can just set the XBMC scraper to top priority.

You did not provide full log files, so the following details are unknown:

- Version of MediaPortal
- Version of MovingPictures
- Version of XBMC NFO Scraper in use
- Other log details that will reveal what is going on

This is why log files are asked for, they reveal all that in an easy technical format that can be used to assist you, or possible solve a problem as bugs will always be around to annoy us.

Based on forum threads from other users who solved their problems, you can try the following:

1. movie.nfo is what ember uses, however the older xbmc scraper expects video_ts.nfo for example if this is for a DVD ISO movie in folder format. Or movie_title_example_same_as_filename.nfo if it is an AVI or MKV file. There have been a few changes made to the scraper, so possibly you are using an older version. You can verify that, or simply provide full debug-enabled log files if you want us to assist you with that.

2. your NFO file might have mallformed XML code, for example an extra </movie> will mess up the import process, so make sure the XML schematic is proper inside the NFO file. Log files with scraper-debug-mode enabled will reveal that, so this might be requested you generate those if the debug-enabled log files don't reveal the full problem.

Please do the following:

1. Enable 'Debug' mode in MediaPortal
2. Limit the contents of 'U:\HD Movie' to one movie with NFO file (log file becomes large and hard to read otherwise)
3. Try to import this one movie in MovingPictures
4. Attach (not post) the mediaportal.log and movingpictures.log files

Hopefully those debug enabled log files will reveal the problem, otherwise you might have to enable scraper-debug mode (green little bug icon) and repeat step 3 and 4, but try debug mode first.
