The latest version (1.0.8) installs itself into my MediaPortal backup folder (which is also under the Team MediaPortal directory). I have to temporarily remove the backup folder in order to have a proper installation of Foofaraw into the right folder.
So it's only me? And only this skin?I love your work!
BUT:
Mini view does not display TV for me.... anybody else?
This works with other skins (tried B2)

This is because the installer searchs for mediaportal.exe, and when it finds it, it positions foofaraw around it, for example the background changer exe file needs to go in the mediaportal directory, foofaraw needs to go in the skins directory. It isntalls the fonts it used by foofaraw deletes the skin cache (xp only), It then creates a shortcut to the background changer in the start menu.
For vista you will have to manually delete the foofaraw skin cache if you had a previous version of foofaraw installed.
My guess is that the installer found is it found an old mediaportal.exe file and got confused. I was hoping to use the mpi format this time around, but I ran out of time (hopefully get it sorted for 1.0.9).
I hope that all makes sense..

Hi Sprgleknas
do you mean the video window at the bottom left of the screen? I will have to test this tonight as I have no tv tuner card here at work, do you run time shift on your tv?
Well gang I found a solution, as wierd as it was. Turns out I had to add the fascade for time.xml so that the movie thumbnail panel would function properly.
I also made a few other small changes to organize it a bit and make covers bigger. I also removed the star ratings since they were buggy and I don't use them personally.
If you have the same problem using MyFilms with Foofaraw feel free to use this xml.
