Foofaraw Skin (8 Viewers)

Hey all, just wanted to say i have some new information about my troubles i posted on the previous page, i have now found out that if when watching tv i say pause it, then carry on watching it and catch up back to being live, The EPG works perfectly, when i press guide it goes to guide! however, its not really a solution, but might help someone understand whats going on with my MP

Maybe hardware\driver related, fill in user cp (top left of forum page) and enable my system, then others can see what specifications your pc has, and advise a possible solution.

Hey, great skin!
But I got one small problem though :
There isn't shown any cover in the left bottom corner (see screenshots)...but there should be one, I think

What can I do? Is this a known bug?

Background not showing up

First, let me say, nice skin! I was even more excited about it when I realized I could change backgrounds... except, I don't seem to be able to do it.

I run the background changer, choose one of the files that came with the skin, click apply and I still get the gray gradient in MP. I looked inside the Media folder of the skin, and I can see background.png being my new file -- so, background changer did its job... Still, I can't get that background to show up in MP.

Any ideas? Do I have "backgrounds" turned off somewhere?

You need to manually delete the cached skin folder (take it you are Running MP1.0RC1) found here

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\cached (hidden folder)

Hey all, today i bring some good news..... I decided i had some free time so i could sort out RC1 after the install foofaraw now works perfectly couldnt be happier. thanks to everyone who tried to help me out though it was much appreciated. just wish i had moved across sooner now, lol.

I posted a while back on this thread because i was experiencing issues with the foofaraw skin, but by the lack of response im guessing nobody else has the same troubles as me. I kind of learnt to accept the problems but thought I would see if anyone can help me anyway.

The main problem is that when watching tv if i press to bring up the epg the following happens...

it seems the guide gets stuck behind the tv picture, anyone have any thoughts on how i could solve this?

another smaller problem is that when accessing the guide from teh initial my tv screen the following happens...

again the tv picture stays stuck on top.

Hi I also have this issue, I'm gutted as this is the best skin and this just stops me using it. Does anyone know of a fix? many thanks

I installed foofaraw skin and love it. However i listen to web radios and the channels don't show up(they work in blue skin). I searched the forum and found the solution to replace "myradio.xml". It works but doesn't have the original layout of foofaraw, which I LOVE.

Could some one please provide an update "myradio.xml" for foofaraw.

Foofaraw for RC3?

Foofaraw is the only skin for me. I love it, it looks realy nice.
Is there a version for Mediaportal 1.0 RC3 available? Will it be programmed for RC3?
