ok, so I am using a 19" monitor as my display, hoping to get something more decent in the future. But for the time being, I am looking for a way to force MP into "blank screen" mode. I searched and came up with nothing that helped. I checked the mapping function for the remote and there is no option of the sort. Did I miss it?

ok, well, it's not a blank screen I want, it's more of the ability to turn my monitor on and off. I found some programs that when called will turn the monitor on or off. Is there any way to have a button on my remote fire that application?

This is something I'd like to see to. But my TV will turn off automaticly if it's inactive for a while. So it would be nice to still have some kind of signal send to it...
