Hi Everyone,

I have just finished my setup for media portal, i had been tossing it up for ages what to run media portal or vista media centre, as i wanted ease of use and reliability. I started with media portal and loved it, how you can customise just about anything, it loves divx movies and dvd movies, plus you can run analog tv / digital tv along side one and another (something vista media centre just cant do) I then changed to vista media centre, but it just couldnt live up to my expectations that media portal can.

Most of this HTPC was build from spare parts i was able to get, all up it has cost me a total of $300 :)

Listed below is the specs of my HTPC

I might get a DVD-RW Drive when i have some money, at the moment i have a laptop for burning stuff.
