Force plugin compatibility (1 Viewer)

I have MP 1.1.2 and since a couple of months OnlineVideos 1.5 seems not to work anymore: I cannot perform a sites update because V 1.6 is required. OV 1.6 cannot be installed on MP 1.1.2. Since sites cannot be updated, I get a "starting playback error" whenever I try to play a video.

I DO NOT want to upgrade MP to a newer version. MP 1.1.2 works very fine for me, I like the way I customized it and I do not like the layout and background colors of MP 3.0 and 4.0. I find MP 1.1.2 somehow "cleaner". That said, I would like to keep using Online Videos on MP 1.1.2, so my question is: is there any way to somehow force compatibility of OL 1.6 with MP 1.1.2? I guess that would be the only way to get OL back to work on my MP version.

No, you cannot "force" compatibility. There were code changes in the OnlineVideos API - newer site util code would not work with older API. And I will not create OV versions for every old MP version. Simply update your MP.

Thank you for your reply. As I said, updating MP is not an option for me, so I guess I'll have to live without Online Videos.
