Forgets channels on 2nd tuner (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have two Hauppauge Nova T-500 DVB-T cards. everytime I restart my PC the TV server config page forgets the TV stations asociated with the second tuner on each of the cards, I then have to re-tune the 2nd tuner on each card and asociate it with the card again. So device 1 path 0 is fine, device 2 path 0 is fine, but device 1 path 1 forgets its chanels and so does device 2 path 1. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hi

Using Todays TVE3, have no problem assigning channels and keeping them on my T500, i do tune the cards individually individually and tick the box "create groups for each provider".

Have you ever had this working ok, if you uninstall TVE3 and use MP's internal TV engine do they work ok with that (just trying to get a idea if it could be a limitation of the driver).

Cannot even remember anyone using 2 T500's with any problems of this kind before.

Will see if any info about this on the hauppauge forum.

Hi Ray, thanks for the reply. I am using the latest SVN, if i do a fresh scan and assign the chanesls to cards, etc, it all seems to keep the settings for a bit, ie, a few restarts, but after adjusting a few settings, ie, where to record to the TV Server setup app crashes and I have to restart the PC, at that point I go back into the TV Server app and it has now forgot the settings for the second tuner on each card. I am using a Server and client on the same machine, and also another client upstairs. What am I doing wrong?
