Forwarding a recording issue (1 Viewer)

Hi,
If I fast forward a recording and then hit the play button on my remote the recording goes black although I do hear some audio for a short time only. I have to play the recording again from the start and use the fast forward button and cycle through the fast forward speeds until it plays (without using the play button) and then it works.
Also, I cannot bring up a navigation bar to go to a specific point in the recording. Can this be done?
Is this a bug?

While playing a recording, you can use the remote control or keyboard to enter 4 numeric digits; these digits represent hours and minutes from the start of the recording. So entering "0032" on the remote would skip to the point in the recording which is 0 hours 32 minutes from the start.

You can also use the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT buttons or keys to skip by pre-defined amounts (you can customise these skip amounts in "MediaPortal Configuration"). See this page in the Wiki:
