Hi there, n00b here, so please bare with me!

I've just managed to get Media Portal working with my Freecom DVB-T USB Stick using the BDA Drivers Freecom made available yesterday. I'm getting a bit of jerky performance and still have to tweak to get the EPG working. However, whenever I try to switch to full screen or resize the window the visual feed freezes but the audio remains. I cannot then get the visual feed to work correctly again until a restart of MP.

So, does anyone have any possible solutions?

Thanks.

Hi ..
Could you provide me with more details of how you got the stick working ?
I have installed the new drivers and edited CAPTURECARDDEFINITIONS.XML but mediaportal still adamantly refuses to see the stick.

That problem is known about but for now its on the back burner. It requires re-writing of a decent amount of code that will be superseeded when the new tv engine is put into place. No point doing it twice.

Solution, dont resize the window when video is playing.

I`m beginning to think its all in the Firmware of the actual stick itself.

Seems there have been a number of revisions to that and the drivers, with the latest available being the much sought after BDA drivers.

My stick was a Revision 622 May 2006. I can`t get any good software to work so far apart from ProgDVB. Oh yeah and WMP.

I`m sure the software devs will pick up on it soon enough. I for one got a little fed up checking back on the Freecom site for the BDA drivers, checking on any forums for compatible BDA drivers that still wouldn`t work with my stick.

So I think I`ll blame it on the firmware and Freecom for not making it reversable.
