UPDATE: Well i've got it working (99%) not sure exactly what it was, I changed the network card, disabled the onboard IDE controller and the PEAK DVT-Tuner had a UBS1.1 & 2.0 controller so I disabled the 1.1 device.

I dont think the the network card did it as the network test results were the same as before.
My guess is the Tuner device and IDE (IDE is on the same shared bus as the tuner)

I now have a strange problem where im watching freesat on 1 client and then i watch a freeview on a different client. upon the 2nd client getting a selecting a freeview channel, client1 stops receiving a signal.

Almost there

I've seen that happen before when different clients have exactly the same computer name. Make sure they're all unique.

Glad you're getting there buddy. It's worth it eh?

Onboard network cards are terrible. They may appear to work fine but if you try and have a time sensitive stream (such as a TS) then you'll get stutters. A cheap £20 intel Nic makes a massive difference
