Freeze on DirectX Splashscreen after upating from 1.3 to 1.4 (1 Viewer)

After updating to 1.4 from 1.3 I can't get it to go past the DirectX loading screen. I've tried the debug mode without plugins and have the same result. I have not been able to get a log as the debugger has to be forced closed as well. I've seen similar posts but they are resuming the computer. I am just trying to start it on an already running machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Have added my specs. Unfortunately I cannot successfully get a log file. I am getting an Unhandled Exception error.
