Freezing Issues Live HD TV (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I know i cannot get any support for mdapi.

But would someone be able to take a look at my log and see if they can spot why my tv service keeps freezing on HD channels. SD seems to be fine and not an issue.

Its frustrating me now as ive done numerous clean installs and its always the same issue.

It would seem that pressing rewind for a second and playing again fixes this issue?

Try installing the older 0.51.3 version of LAV filters (download it from http://code.google.com/p/lavfilters/downloads/list ) - I've been having problems with LAV video decoder hanging on H.264 stream discontinuities/errors with the 0.52/0.53 versions (in DXVA2 Native mode at least - haven't tested the other modes yet for the problem).

Seems ive managed to sort it i hope. I check the log myself and noticed something about dynamic refresh rate. So i did some googling and changed mp config as i had enable dynamic refresh rate ticked. So ive now unticked it and so far so good. Not 1 freeze or stutter in 2 hours since ive been in from work. Also had about 2 hours before work of flawless service.

Ok so it seems that was a coinsidence as its done it again eith both options selected. I have unistalled lav and insyalled the suggested version. So far it seems stable and currently watching f1 hd with no glitch or freezes

For information, the LAV video decoder H.264 freezing problem should be fixed in the latest LAV release - http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1602316#post1602316

cheers, im still running flawlessly with the older version, i also have no hardware acceleration in lav so might of been that
