I've got a Media Center PC from Dell. I've discovered that, while 30 minute video files (sitcoms, etc.) in Divx or really any other format play fine, anything over about 30 minutes or 45 minutes, the video freezes with the audio chugging right along. It seems to happen with Divx, DVD, XVid, pretty much any video file longer than 30-45 minutes. Any common issues I should be looking for?
This is what I have handy for specs:
MediaPortal Version: SVN from Sept 10
Windows Version: XP Media Center
CPU Type: Celeron
HDD: 80GB
Memory: 512MB
Remote: Wireless KB and Mouse
TV: RCA 52" HDTV
TV - HTPC Connection: DVI
I don't use a TV tuner of any sort and don't do any recording on the machine. It's all DVD rips, etc. I've applied all MS patches, updated Media Player and it still does it.
