Chances are that I did miss a skin or two. If you know about a skin that you believe should be in the blog, please post it here.
Well you caught a couple I had missed - thanks Spragleknas. Really nice overview of how skinners are developing even awesome original skins that XBMC does not have!

I was totally in love with the first screens for MUSTAYALUCA (even though I can't pronounce it) ... a real pity it didn't make it to "production".
The biggest hurdle for me to try out other skins (using the great StreamedMP) are the added features of Streamed like the basic home editor and the auto-update. If every skin had access to such great tools it would be easier to switch when you are in the mood for it.

UPDATE: Focus is confirmed to be dead....
Well we can't blame ajp8164 for not continuing Focus, since he is spending most of his time now developing awesome new features for our MP Skin Engine that enhance all skins!
Shukuyen - I feel the same about MUSTAYALUCA - would love to see that available. BTW many skins now provide BasicHome editors and update is available for any skin that uses MPEI - even via MP GUI using the Extensions plugin (not quite 'auto update' yet - but MPEI can give you a notice that update is available and a button to click to do the update, but most skins have not implemented it yet)

Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.

I have been using it For 16 years now (from V1.1.1) and it has worked flawlessly.
