Hi Greg,

There isn't much useful info in the error message. Perhaps any error in the log\MediaPortal.log or any other logfile in the log directory?

If not, the only way to find out what's wrong is to attach a debugger to the mediaportal.exe process at the moment this error occurs and do a backtrace. This isn't very easy, though.
