Being that I cant sit around, when something needs conquering. especially when its my tv.:D I re installed the program again and tried fresh. I updated drivers, and changed codex. And Im not sure. but I believe what I have is a reception problem. If that makes any sense. :S I noticed that the channels that didn't come in right away and flickered and what not, were the ones that crashed the program. so I deleted those channels and so far so good. no problems what so ever. (wish there was a smiley for jumpin up n down) I will test for the rest of the day and report what I find out. :thx: toozit note to self: screen saver bad. :D Edit:::: At least you have experience. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me that reception is not my problem and laugh at me. :D Anyway if this doesn't pan out, my next thought is my tuner card.
