Thanks for the file but...
Ok I dont get it, i follow the instruction but it doesn't work

IN my skin folder I already have a razor folder (that's actually the one i use)
now when i add your files in your Media folder of the ones in my Razor skin Mediafolder + your XML files at the root of the skin folder and launch MP...nothing changes

What do i do wrong?

and when I delete the original Razor folder and replace it by yours a message tells me that the file is not uptodate and the whole thing crashes my computer...

You shuld not delete any files... i only upload the changes of the skin.

The only change i have done are the basic home menu. To get to this menu you haveto press the "green" windows button on the MSE remote or someting like it, if there is another remote.
It might be a button on the keyboard or something but i dont no witch.
But the easyest thing are that you go in the the configuration ( icon on the desktop or stratmenu " Setup mediaportal" ) and then press general, and check "Start whit basic homescreen. This will start the menu direcly.

Alright! i see what you mean now!! Sorry I discovered this software yesterday so...

When navigating the menu with the keyboard it seems that it is turning in the opposite direction . I don't which one is more logical though.

i should have a Windows Media center remote control on Monday. I was actually a tester for this platform and MS never asked back for it. Hopefully i'll make it work with Media Portal

I have made a little update in the BasicHome.xml so it are a little animation when you enter the basichome menu.

If you dont have done it allredy, download my basichomescreen for razor. You find it on the first page in this tread.

Then download the update here
Just copy the XML file to razor skin folder.

If there are someone who know if its possible to make an animation after a button are pressed, please tell me. My ide is to make the buttons disappear before the next menu are loaded.

Thanks for the update i like the icon sliding on entering the menu.

As for the animation... It may sound very noob and naive but:
-what if the picture, the PNG logos, were replaced by animated gif, or say flash icons for a better quality
or
what if the whole menu what a sort of flash site with links on each icon

I have no ideas if this is possible but that's the only way i see it.

I dont think it´s possible with the current graphic engine, but i will think about how this can be solved.

I tried to download the files a couple of minutes ago, but I get an ERROR on the savefiles.com page. Does someone have an alternative URL?

I have done an even biger update after this release, but i planing to release the complete skin. But before i can do that want a OK from Raven, the orginal disigner of Razor.
