It froze again. Turned the machine on (from hibernation) and it was frozen on the EPG. I restarted with the report a MP bug thing so therefore with the default skin and plugins and it froze again when I tried to select a channel. I attempted to restart the TV service (I have a bat file on my desktop) but the service could not be stopped.
I restarted the PC and then MP said no cards available, in setup all the cards were "unknown" type. Restarting the TV service (even though the PC had just been restarted) seemed to fix it.

    Hi mrkaras

The same lockup issue with TsWriter that we've talked about before (here) is present - that is what is causing the problems again. I know a little more about the issue now. Please try to untick "enable CRC check" in TV Server configuration -->here<--.
