    Hi,

    So please please re-implement this.

There is nothing to re-implement. Its a windows problem. MP renders its GUI like a game with DirectX technologies. DirectX is not hardware accelerated on the second screen due to limitations of windows. You also cannot run 3D games on the secondary screen without getting your CPU into trouble.

MP is not meant to be a simple media player like Zoomplayer. Its a full HTPC GUI.

    Flip.

I would be interested to know as well. I have the x15e case with the 7" touchscreen. Now I cannot use it because my main panel is full HD.
Does anybody know if MS is going to add support in dx for a second screen on different resolution?

    Cheers,
    Henry

Just got Windows Vista Ultimate (free license from my work :D )

Windows Media Center works fine on the 2. monitor. Just unmaximize, move window to secondary screen and maximize. Viola - everything works as hoped.

Don't know if DirectX 10 is better at supporting hardware accel on more than one monitor, but if MS can do this so can Media Portal. Media Portal has way better customization possibilities.

Did you already have a look at:

Works excellent for me (Windows Vista Ultimate). CPU usage approx. 10%.

An added bonus is that I can use IntelliRemote software to manage my creative remote control, and have the software emulate the keyboard shortcuts for the nView profiles.

I've read many negative things about Creatives remote controls, but with IntelliRemote it actually becomes usefull.

CrackMaND, thanks for the props on Intelliremote!
