    Hi,

This is very strange. I run the TVServer and MP client on one HTPC. I have another PC as another client to that HTPC.

If I stream live TV to my PC client I can watch TV just fine.

    The problem is this;
If I watch on my HTPC (running Vista 32 bit and using Microsoft included MPEG-2 decoder for video) I see TV when in the first TV screen (small picture). But when I switch to fullscreen TV i get no picture just black.

Since live TV works on my second PC it is no TVServer issue. Could it be something with Vista or the Decoder?

Anyone have the same problem or a solution?

    hi,

    hi some possibilities for you:

    1. i had something similar yesterday on my mp-system in myvideos when trying to watch movies in fullscreen with "normal" aspect ratio. i had 800x600 resolution on my machine. after i changed it to 720x576 there everything was ok. perhaps you could try.

    2. then you also could try to disable directx exclusive mode and look what happens

    3. on irc kuerbis told me that: start tv & timeshift --> go to Settings, Screen Calib., Screencalib. --> go through the stepps here (don´t change anything) --> go back to tv

    have a nice day,

having the problem in xp cant find directx exclusive mode in that in mp or the os

MP setup\Direct show filter control\VMR9 settings, This is on latest svn version.

On 0.2.2.0 its MP setup\General and there is a tickbox for exclusive directx.

    Hope that helps

i am having the same problem. As long as I am not is Fullscreen mode the TV works fine. When I try to change to FullScreen MP hangs. The only option is to End the task. I'm running the 4/20/2007 SVN build.

You cannot change from windowed mode to fullscreen with any TV\Video playing this is a known limitation.

If something else please be more specific.

i'm at work so I can't try it so I need clarification....Are you saying that if I was in FullScreen first and then went into the TV module it would work fine?
I have tried MP in fullscreen and when I go into TV to preview channels it works fine. The problem is when i click the channel (video) itself to make it fullscreen.
