So here's my issue.
I open mediaportal, everything displays fine and dandy. I can navigate to any part of the software just fine. As soon as I play a movie from my movies or a tv show from my-tvseries, the program somehow expands beyond the reaches of my display. If i pause the movie the progress bar is above anything I can see, and if I go back to the navigation part of the program, the top and right side is cut off. When viewing a 4x3 tv show or movie, it isn't centered on the screen and is slightly to the right, and the right part of any 16x9 content is cut off. What could be causing this?
The GUI literally goes from entirely fitting on the screen to about 1/4 of it missing off the top and right side whenever I start to play a movie. Any ideas? This only happens in mediaportal, and if I use an external player it doesn't happen either.
