As nobody else is developing this nice App anymore,
i am looking into it from now on, if its okay.

I have already rewritten this tool in many parts.

Attention:
this is an early beta testing version.

You need VLC installed on Your system, and your system has to be x64


I am currently only testing on Windows 8 Pro x64 with MP 1.3.0Beta

I Hope this is already working for the most of You

Usage:
1) Start the .exe file, click on Main=>Configuration, enter your server settings, then hit save.
2) Now just click Connect.
3) Double click a channel in the channel list and watch TV

Windows 8 huh. Did you change it to use the "fisher price" (metro) style UI or keep it the same?
It is a clickonce app so I can't run it here and see for myself.

Nope! I only can test against win8 at the moment. It should also work on win7 x64 if you have vlc installed.

Ah. That would explain why it's mysteriously crashing with no notice. It launches according to Task Manager, but immediately crashes and has an error report sent to Microsoft. Perhaps an option then to specify location of the VLC Executable? Or maybe even get the location from the registry.... Or a file search... Lots of possibilities!

I guess he knows the possibilities, but as menitioned it is a early beta and will improve.
