Hi,

Is it possible to get the DVICO FusionHDTV DVB-T USB2 Remote and MediaPortal to work together?

Many thanks.

Yes, if you use HIP, you should be able to map each of the keys on the Dvico Remote to the MP keyboard equivalent.

Thanks, so to get it to work I need to buy that. Will look in to it.

    Cheers.

LOL..Thanks for pointing that out mate ;)

Well I have installed it, go to run it and go to select input device, from the reading I've done I need to select HID interface, but when I do it says "No compatable HID devices found". :(

    Description from HIP site:
HIP HID Interface (Freeware) A Self-Extracting HIP plug-in to enable you to use compatible HID-remote controllers such as the DVICO Fusion USB receiver

HIP is free, so you can try it out without risking any money... :D

Actually from what more I have read it doesn't work with devices such as FusionHDTV USB2 DBV-T's remote...is that right?

The DViCo remote that it mentions is a stand alone remote and not the one like mine which came with my capture card. :(

I am not familiar with the FusionHDTV USB2 DBV-T's remote, so I can't comment.

But, it does work with the remote that is supplied with the FusionHDTV DVB-T card, which has an IR receiver that plugs into a USB port.

Where does your IR Receiver connect to - a USB port, or somewhere else?

The IR receiver is part of the "box"/capture card that connects via USB2.
