getting media center remote to work (1 Viewer)

hi guys,

im trying to get my media center remote to work with media portal, used to work flawlessly in mce however all I can do is move about using the up down left right keys and the ok button. ive looked at the mappings however there doesn't seem to be a key assigned to the buttons (greyed out) is there a way to change this and map them? really want to start using media portal as mce is very dated now

1. Is this a genuine MCE remote?
2. Have you enabled the MCE remote input in MP configuration:

thanks for your reply. yes I've done this but still only have basic navigation. I have a few different remotes including genuine ones. just thinking though I do have 2 x non genuine usb ir's I wonder if this could be causing the problem
