Gigabyte GA-MA78GPm-DS2H Issue (1 Viewer)

I'm wondering if anyone has a successful install with a Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H mobo?

Specifically has anyone got scheduled TV recordings working?

My incomplete install died so I'm about to restart and have co-incidentally discovered that the BIOS alarm wake up feature does not work - I've been in contact with Gigabyte and tried resetting the bios, changing options, standing on my head & it just doesn't do a thing - & I'm just concerned about embarking on a build where scheduled TV recordings might never work or am I barking up the wrong tree for how the system tells itself to wakeup?

Yes

Works very fine with the S3 workaround in Mediaportal configuration enabled

I must be being blind or stupid or both - have just upgraded from my old version to the current download and still cannot find it.

Don't worry

- Start the Mediaportal configuration Utility
- In the folder tree on the left go to general (not one of the items below general like skin, thumbnail... but klick directly on general
- tick the box next to "apply workaround to fix Mediaportal to freeze on some systems"


At least with SVN 21813 and 21688 this works.
For older versions there was a workaround somewhere....
