Just now, my tv (philips 42PES0001D) died after 9 years, and now I'm searching for a good replacement.
As I use mediaportal, I don't need a tv but a monitor will suffice.
I watch a lot of videos/movies through onlinevideos, and as such, there's a wide variety on framerates which in the ideal world would be natively supported by the monitor to avoid a/v-sync issues and tearing. (Currently the tv is connected through hdmi)
Searching for quite a while now, but finding a monitor with comparable specs as my tv is hard, especially on the supported resolutions/framerates.
Most of the search sites only have basic selections and don't even show the full list of supported resolutions
For the rest my demands are pretty standard. between 42 and 55 inch, fullhd, preferably wall-mountable and a small bezel.
And no extra shizzle (usb/speakers/wifi/etc) needed at all.
Pricerange is also not that important (hoping that it will be used for roundabout 10 years)
Can anyone make some suggestions to narrow my search?
