Google weather and internet connection popup windows (1 Viewer)

Since updating to the latest version, we occasionally get a popup window while watching TV that it can't access the google weather or something like that. We usually see it at least once a night sometimes twice in an hour. Also, soon after waking up the HTPC, it complains of no internet connection.

Can these types of popups be disabled? We don't need to know about the occasional internet issue.

Would that not be down to the weather plugin you are using, I get that happening if I have any torrents running and WorldWeather plugin cannot connect fast enough over my 3mb internet line.

There are options on the above plugin settings screen to turn off notifications.

Well, I've never seen it ever before until updating the skin, and I've been using MP for 3 years and StreamedMP for probably 2 years. I believe the weather plugin in MP doesn't work any longer due to the service pulling the plug, and StreamedMP incorporated their own using google weather.

Nope they use WorldWeather or yrweather afaik, so as I said, go to your plugins section and if WorldWeather found and enabled, go to the settings and disable notifications, not sure if yrweather has something similar.
