My problem is a very strange one. When I start a video, most of the time it plays with a green tint, and what looks like decoding issues (blue horizontal lines across the screen). If I stop that video, and restart it from where it was stopped the problem tends to disappear (it might take a few tries). However, if I then stop and start it again, the problem re-appears. It is not consistent, but almost every second time I play a video it either plays normally, or with the problem.

I have inserted 2 images to describe the issue. Hope they provide insight. I have also attached the logs.

Furthermore, if I play these videos in an external player, there is no issue whatsoever.

Hope you can help.

I did a complete reinstall - installed Windows 7 instead of XP, same version of MP and the problem was solved. THis time I installed my own codecs (CoreAVC and ffdshow) rather than SAF. Maybe that solved the problem...
