Hi there I got a VIA Epia Board with a C7-Processor and a CN700 Chipset (Details see below) in front of me. I know about the problems between the S3-Graphiccard embedded in the chipset has with VRM9 and it seems that (like remarked at the ent of the linked thread) the newest drivers from the via-arena are fixing these problems -- i am able to watch videos out of mediaportal. Unfortunateley there seems to be some problems with choosing the right colorspace. I'm using the newest ffdshow-codec but i also tried the newest xvid-codec, the results are always the same: i see a green washy version of the video, sometimes headfirst, much like in the picture attached to this post. Just like described in this thread, changing the output-colorspace in ffdshow has no impact on the video's colors, even if i only allow RGB. What I found out and what seems very interesting to me is, that when i play another video with VLC in overlay-mode, the colors of the video in mediaportal are correct too, even if i close VLC afterwards. It seems that when starting the playback in mediaportal, an overlay-video must be playing. So it is definitly possible to play the video correctly, it seems just to be a problem with the adjustment of the colorspace between mediaportal and the graphicschip. VLC does this adjustment manual and afterwards mediaportal also works quite well. The question to me is, if this adjustment can be done programmaticly, if it's a bug or just a configuration mistake. I'm awaiting your answers, Best Regards, Peter My System: MediaPortal Version: 0.2.2 Beta MediaPortal Skin: TwoBlue Windows Version: WinXP Pro SP2, DotNetFx 2 CPU Type: VIA C7 "Esther" 1GHz (Onboard) Memory: 512 MB DDR2-800 PC2-6400 CL5 Motherboard: VIA Epia CN10000EG MiniITX Motherboard Chipset: VIA CN700 Video Card: S3/VIA UniChrome Pro IGP (Onboard) Video Card Driver: v6.14.10.375 vom 10.08.2007 Sound Card: VIA VT1618 (Onboard) TV Card(s): None MPEG2 Video Codec: MPV oder ffdshow MPEG2 Audio Codec: MPV oder ffdshow Cooling: Passive Power Supply: PicoPSU 120W / 60W External Supply / 4.16A bei 12V
