I have the following problem;
TV and every thing works fine on the server PC but when conecting thru client PC everything works fine apart from TV. I can see the TV Guide but cannot get tv to work.

All the firewalls are turned off and still nothing.

Seems this might be it. Could you try to open the stream in VLC?

I've the same problem

I'm experiencing the same problem. I have a windows box with TvServer/Client, a linux box hosts the mysql db. This apart from some poor coding standards with db table names not having consistent capitalization, causing problems during upgrades, works well for the most part.

The problem is that when I try and install the client on a laptop I too get just the tv guide and a blank screen when trying to view television. (video's through MP work fine so I don't think it's codec/driver related). While displaying the blank screen the MP client also exhibits a ~50% chance of making the laptop so unresponsive that only a hard reset will work even given 10 minutes to pull up the task manager.

This has never worked for any version I've installed, even release 1.0.0 so just wondering if you ever got anywhere with this?
