These files simply don't play (upon playing, MP screen goes black for a sec, than returns as if the movie ended). I'm on a new install of Win7 x64, with no additional codec packs, except a manual install of ffdshow. I'm using the exact setup as outlined in the thread, LAV decoder for audio, no pass through enabled, and MPAR for renderer. I'm using SPDIF optical connection to my Onkyo receiver (not HDMI as my receiver is rather old and doesn't have HDMI support...), but this never caused any issue so far. I tried to debug as much as I could, and did the below steps:<ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Reinstalled LAV, also upgrading to a newer version (59.1)</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">If I change back to standard DirectSound renderer and leave LAV settings the same (no passthrough), videos play correctly with audio recognized as Dolby ProLogic II (not DTS, as I believe DTS is being decoded by LAV into standard 6 channel PCM stream).</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">If, in next step, I enable pass-through of DTS in LAV, both video and DTS audio plays correctly.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">I also checked in GraphStudio, manually building a graph with LAV audio decoder and MPAR, the connection seems to be OK, with 6ch 32bit PCM data coming out of LAV and recognized correctly as input of MPAR. However, the video does not play also in graphstudio, or if it starts, there is no sound at all.</li> </ul>I also attach a debug log from MP. I tried to dig some of the files myself, but I'm afraid my knowledge of MP internals does not allow me to come to any conclusions...I'd be extremely grateful if some of you might try to help me fixing this.</blockquote>
