Alexander,
My problem with slow guide was resolved by changing my GFX card - shouldn't think it's going to make any difference to you as you've already got a 9800... but I did notice that my CPU usage with the old GFX card skyrocketed with TV on and the guide up..
Try loading up task manager alongside MP and monitor your CPU & Mem usage, you could also try loading on the latest ATi drivers, and double checking that hardware acceleration is set to Full under "Control Panel | Display | Settings | Troubleshoot"

Some things to try:
1. your profile says MPV codec your log says "InterVideo NonCSS Video Decoder for Hauppauge", so again, double-check your codecs.
2. Try at a lower resolution
3. Try with the B2 skin, (I think razor is pretty heavy weight)
4. If you are running windowed mode, switch to full screen

Wow, well lowereing the resoloution and changing the theme to b2 works but now the resoloution is not the native of my projector and it looks bad.

heh
its a lose win lose situation.

I suppose its a workable soloution now,

Thanks for all you help i really apprecieate it.
