Here we go - pls note that I did not change the whole layout, so the text appears in the cover below the selected thumbnail (see red rectangle).
You have to adjust the distance of the thumbnail lines as well to show the text below without overlapping
There is also a text y offset property, which I don´t remember now, but wiki should help there

Baah, simply is textXOff/textYOff to define the distance between cover and text

.... and if you make up a nice focus image, you can add a background to the text as well

I'm not sure what you mean ? also the progressbar feature for tvseries or moving pictures would the plugin need to add support ?
