Yep, this happens with me too. Fresh install. The first time it worked fine, but then I moved my files around, so I emptyed the database, restarted, and tried again. Now EVERY time there's a good half that don't import correctly (or at all)....

Then, randomly again, it just worked one time. I'm definitely keeping it this time..hopefully this doesn't happen again. Sorry I couldn't reproduce for an error log!

Ahhhh... I take that back. It's going crazy. Sometimes it will just completely lose data that was already in there actually!! Man, I don't know what's going on with it right now. But it's driving me crazy.

My artwork was not downloading due to a common answer on these forums.... ad blocker was turning all the images to tiny red dots within MP (as well as showing the Online TV Database - An open directory of television shows for HTPC software gifs as tiny dots thus I thought the media was not on the site). I thought I tested this ages ago but it turns out the ad blocker was hidden within another option within my antivirus/spyware package !

The entire series of Deadwood got "lost" somehow when I upgraded, and then wouldnt reimport until I deleted the listing for deadwood. Now its got the artwork, the series description, the episode names but no info with the episodes, like overviews and stuff. Same with some episodes from firefly and Supernatural. Using whatever the version of mediaportal you get when you download 1.0.0 from the front page.

I recently added Deadwood to my library and have a similar problem. It finds the series, and series title art, but doesn't populate the episode information, not even episode titles, yet the series information is definitely at thetvdb.com

Mine is fine now, I think I had to change the selection from DVD to aired, because the DVD info for Deadwood wasnt filled out completely.

Just reporting same issue, slightly. All my episodes show up in the parsed list but only about 1/3 of them end up importing. Going to clear the database and try again. PITA since it is uncomfortable sitting on the ground where my HTPC is :p

Kk, imported them all fine this time but still no episode names. Guess I can run through and do them manually.

EDIT: Selecting "aired" as opposed to "absolute" or "dvd" fixed getting names.

thanks for the posts - this has helped me resolve issues i was having with getting a number of tv shows/series to import correctly - choosing "aired" for all imported everything just fine.

cheers,

d.
