Handling of "making of" and similar additional content (1 Viewer)

In the last days I put all my movies together on the harddisk of my HTPC, every movie in its own folder. In each folder I put an info.txt with the corresponding IMDB-Key and Moving Pictures found and matched every single movie totally correct on the first try! Great! Thanks a lot for this plugin!

I have just one little problem:

In some movie Folders there is additional content, a "making of", a music clip or something like that. Moving Pictures is configured to group all files in a folder together and it will play the additional content after the main movie. Fine - but how can I choose to watch a "making of" directly? Starting the main movie, jumping through it with long jumps to the end, well, that should work, but perhaps there is a better solution? Is there any "Next Title"-Key, a "Jump to the end"-Key or some other simple solution?

Perhaps I'm just blind, but I searched in multiple threads and did not found anything about - but I think, I'm not the only one who wants to handle additional content to a Movie?!

You can change the order of playback of "multi-part" movies. For that, in the Moving Pictures configuration, go to the tab Movie Manager. Under the movie title on the right-hand side, switch from Movie Details to File Details. Now change the playback order.

Thanks for the answer - but this is not a solution. I know that I can change the playback order, but normally I want to watch the movie out of moving pictures - but sometimes I want to watch the "special", "making of" or something like that. Is this behaviour really unusual? I don't believe so, in this case all these specials on DVD would be obsolete.

Closing mediaportal, opening the configuration, changing the playback order, closing configuration, restarting mediaportal, watching a "making of" and then turning everything back to normal ist not really a handy procedure...

It is easier to close mediaportal, watch the additional content with VLC, media player classic ore something like that and then return to mediaportal without reconfiguring anything - but that's not the desired way in a all-in-one media solution - it's just not family compatible.

If there is really no solution I will have to copy all additional content to the folder which is accessed via "my videos", this should work as a workaround with higher WAF.

Oh, maybe my english is not the best, I'm a little bit out of practice. So I think, it's easy to misunderstand my questions. But your reply helped me to explain the question better (I hope...) ;-)

I see ONE thing you could try. If you don't actively use the "big step forward" button, then you could change the "jump value" to 100%. No idea if that works, just a random thought. If the config does not accept 100%, there's always 99% ;)
