    hello
I come not to recognize my external hard drive, in MP
I have to go in a section (music or video).

    I visit the music section,
    connect the USB disk,
    mp recognizes the hard drive,
    to access the videos,
I have to unplug the hard drive,
    re-connect the hard drive,
    and mp-recognized.

    Can confirm this behaviour.

    1. setup folders under music and video pointing to two seperate folders on usb HDD.
    2. acces the new music folder by going up one level and choosing the drive H:\Rays Backup\Music in my case, play a track.
    3. goto home screen and choose Video, then go up level and access H:\Rays Backup\Movie, there is nothing displayed.

This is with everything viewing as shares.

Well i see players that will let you plug in a USB flash drive, but I don't know if that will work USB hard drives too. I doubt it as the I/O messages for each are different. I need something small (including the screen) so a computer is out of the question.
