I am currently using a Haupage Media center remote to control Media Portal, however I have found that this remote is incompatible with my HDMI & IR Matrix. Apparently the Media Center remote I have is strict RC-5 on 36khz and my matrix is on 38khz. I can currently only just get the keys to function (intermittently) if I place the emitter on the Media Center USB unit in a certain angle and wrap silver foil around it
Therefore does anyone know of another remote system that they would recommend that may be more flexible? Or does anyone have a workaround to my issue?
