haupagge PVR 150 MCE and win XP ? full funtionality in MP ? (1 Viewer)

I am thinking of buying a haupagge PVR 150 MCE kit (with remote etc), however will be intending using windows XP and MP.

Will i be able to use full functionality in MP using XP given that the MCE is designed for windows MCE., and secondly if so where would i find the relevant drivers.

Media Portal "natively" supports the PVR 150 MCE - check it out here https://www.team-mediaportal.com/dokuw/install/capturecards/start

You'll need to install the standard Hauppauge drivers that comes with the card i guess (like I did for my PVR 350 card), but there's no need for additional applications other than Media Portal itself.

The issue that i have is that the 150MCE is specifically designed for windows MCE

It appears as though the hardware is different and there is specific MCE drivers (see above). Can i use the standard pvr-150 driver for XP and coupled with MP get the full flexibility as though it were an MCE
