Don't know if this is a remote or MP issue. Is there a way that a keypress on the remote will turn off the screensaver?
Right now if the SS kicks in, I have to press a key on the keyborad and then use the remote

Hi mPod,

I finally switched to your HCWPlugin. Great, works perfect with my 34-button remote. Thank you.

At this time this actions are hardcoded for the 34-button remote:

Red Button
- Toggle GUI/Fullscreen

Green Button
- GUI TV: Activate GUI Teletext
- TV Fullscreen: Activate Teletext Fullscreen
- GUI Teletext: Activate Teletext Fullscreen
- Teletext Fullscreen: Activate GUI Teletext

Yellow Button
- Show Context Menu

Blue Button
- Fullscreen Video/TV: Toggle OSD
- GUI: Show Info on selected item

The only button I use is the yellow one.
-> Red: To toggle GUI/Fullscreen there is the Full button on the 34-button remote.
-> Green: My PVR 250 doesn't offer Teletext.
-> Blue: Changes the aspect ratio. This can be done with the context menu.

Could you make the 4 colored buttons configurable? They could be used to Jump to TV, Jump to Guide or Jump to Videos instead.

Sorry, that's not what the plugin was made for. If you want to configure the buttons, you might want to use the Hauppauge application, Girder or the WinLIRC plugin.

But how can I use the Hauppauge application to get the button to

Ups, sorry. Did not keep this in mind. Unless Gucky has not implemented this in his home plugin, you could use this one for the time being:

hauppage pvr 150 with 45 keys remote
latest ir driver

tried every possible solution that i could found / plugins etc
also older versions of mp

Mpeg-2 codecs ?

Hi All,

I've noticed something this weekend. If i don't install the hauppauge mpeg-2 decoders and use powerdvd codecs instead, the hauppauge remote doesn't lock up anymore. I have tried this with altered irremote.ini file only (locked up too i think) and will soon try it with mPod's plugin.
