Hauppage Remote doesnt work in MP2 (1 Viewer)

I have a Hauppage Nova-DT Dual DVB-T Tuner Device (+IR) card in my HTPC
And my remote works flawlessly with MP1

However the remote doesn't work at all with MP2
I searched for the equivalent of the MP1 screen below in MP2 settings, but cant seem to find it / or find how to set the Hauppage as my remote.
Any help is much appreciated

Update: On a hunch, I terminated the IR32.EXE in Task manager, and the remote now works... sort of.
Some functions work like the cursor keys to move around the TV guide, but buttons like exit don't close a menu...
