I'm a complete noob so please be gentle. I have an old analog Hauppauge card with w 45 button remote. I want to be able to use this remote (as the buttons are exactly what I want) but with a different card (a kworld DVB-T). The new card works perfectly but I think I need a IR receiver for the remote to work. I tried a USB IRDA (for my phone) but that didn't work.
Can anyone offer some simple advice.
